This recipe for Spicy Hummus is a delightful blend of flavors that combines the flavor of Middle Eastern spices with the traditional chickpea dip. This recipe, which is ideal as an appetizer or snack, gives your typical hummus a twist.
Ingredients:
- 2 cans 15 oz each chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Middle Eastern spices blend cumin, coriander, sumac for extra flavor
Instructions:
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, paprika, and a pinch of salt
