These grilled bacon-chicken skewers are a mouthwatering combination of savory bacon and tender chicken, glazed with tangy barbecue sauce. Perfect for summer cookouts or any time you're craving delicious grilled fare!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
Warm the grill up to a medium-high level
Each skewer should have one piece of chicken on it
Then, wrap a half slice of bacon around the chicken
Repeat until all of the chicken is on a stick
Add salt and pepper to taste and brush each skewer with olive oil
Put the skewers on the grill and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is golden brown
Use barbecue sauce to baste the skewers every now and then
Serve hot, and if you want, top with more barbecue sauce
